A Local Partner Going Above and Beyond for Our Soapbox Challenge and Rainbows Hospice
We’re excited to shine a spotlight on another brilliant supporter joining us for the Nottingham Super Soapbox Challenge: Tigatech.
We work closely with Sam, who is one of those rare people you can call anytime and know he’ll find a way to help — whether that’s dropping materials off on site at short notice or simply making sure we’re always looked after. His working relationship with Dallan is top‑tier, built on efficiency, good humour and a level of banter that only happens when two people genuinely get on.
And of course, Dallan regularly pulls Sam’s leg that he looks like Gavin from Gavin & Stacey. Sam still hasn’t revealed who he thinks Dallan looks like… but we’re all waiting for the verdict (hopefully a gentle one).
Tigatech have come on board through one of our sponsorship packages, with their contribution going directly to Rainbows Hospice for Children and Young People.

When we asked Sam what people should know about the company, he didn’t disappoint:
“We specialise in all things adhesives — so if you need anything bonding, stick with us.”
Tigatech are known for hazard‑free adhesives (including some of the products Venture Play use), which help keep operators safe while ensuring installations stay secure and nothing comes unstuck.
And as for company history?
“We have literally nothing to do with Tigers!”
🪂 A Bit More About Sam…
Outside of keeping our projects running smoothly, Sam’s other hobby involves jumping out of planes — quite willingly.
He also told us:
“I share a passion for music alongside Dallan, and I’m very jealous of his Pearl drum kit.”
And one fun surprise:
“I find rollercoasters more scary than jumping out of a plane at 15,000 feet!”
So yes — between the banter, the skydiving and the day‑to‑day rescues, Sam definitely keeps the partnership interesting.
